We gather men to walk as sons of God, adopted into the body of Christ, so they can lead with the wisdom of the Father in brotherhood.
A brotherhood,
not a program.
"We few, we happy few, we band of brothers." Men were never meant to fight alone — not the battles of leadership, fatherhood, or faith.
Band of Brothers United exists to pull men out of isolation and into real fellowship. Through retreats, gatherings, and the everyday work of showing up for one another, we help men grow in spiritual maturity and lead with the wisdom of fathers — at home, at work, and in their communities.
In 2021, Pastor Sherman Bradley and his wife, Dr. Melissa Bradley, kept returning to the same conversation: the men of their church needed a place to learn and grow into the roles they carry at home, at church, and in the city. Past attempts had fallen short, so Pastor Sherman called on fellow pastors and tried something simple: one day, one gathering, for the men of Cincinnati.
The men responded. When the first retreat ended in October 2021, they didn't want to wait a year for the next one. A second gathering followed in March 2022, and it was even stronger. Since then, Band of Brothers United has held two retreats every year, teaching men to live as sons of God adopted into the body of Christ, so they can lead with the wisdom of fathers.
Twelve retreats and 597 men later, the brotherhood has grown beyond Cincinnati. In June 2025 it reached Nairobi, Kenya. It returns there in June 2027 at Nairobi Chapel on Ngong Road.

We are vulnerable alone. A true companion provides immediate rescue and shared strength when hard times strike.

The true test of brotherhood: a brother is born for adversity and steps forward when casual friends may drift away.

Brotherhood is necessary for growth — men need others to challenge, correct, and build up their character.
